It’s simple, the less we use our cars the better our lives will be : )
The more people out on the street, biking and walking, the more acceptable it is to be out on the street, biking and walking and the safer it is….. to be out on the street, biking and walking : )
Our Mission…..
- Spread the news; the streets belong to everyone! Biking and walking (along with the bus) are a great way to get around in the South Bay.
- Make our streets safer for bicyclists and pedestrians of all ages.
- Form a community of like minded people with meet-ups, potluck dinners, outings and group trips to city council meetings

I’d like to see the Southbay bike path connect to the one in Palos Verdes, then to the San Pedro bike path, then all the way to Long Beach.
Does anyone have any ideas what it would take to make that become a reality?
Thats a good one. I’d love to see something like that to.
Here’s an idea for getting to Long Beach but not so scenic. It would work on P.C.H. and a lot of other major thoroughfares with two or more lanes around here. We put “sharrows” (bike lane symbols that designate that bikes belong too) in all the right lanes. We can all share…bikes, slow cars, buses…it just oughta be.
This brings up another thought…Higher speeds may work on the interstate, but I think there are scientific studies that prove they don’t necessarily work to improve traffic flow through our cities.
Lets slow things down!
